Advisors provide advice to the Editors. They are persons who were deeply involved in the GSM or UMTS development. Advisors are:

• Thomas Haug (Chairman of CEPT and ETSI TC GSM 1982 – 1991, Chairman of ETSI TC SMG 1991 – 1992)
• Philippe Dupuis (Chairman of GSM MoU 1988, Chairman of ETSI TC SMG 1992 - 1996)
